Hand picked from the shore, these are not your everyday seashells.  Seasilk seachips are actually pieces that have been tumbled by the waves and polished by the sand to produce unique and beautiful shapes.

We select them by hand to assure quality and beauty, and since they are tumbled by the sea, they do not have the typical "seashell" look.  They provide an excellent medium for arts and crafts. Most pieces are flat or slightly curved, and are an excellent choice for mosaics, tile inserts, and similar projects. The applications are countless, use them as aquarium gravel, or in a Champaign glass as wedding favors, as a border on picture frames or mirrors, use them to line your favorite pot, or press them into clay before firing, or you can fill a glass lamp base for that unique but unmistakable "near the sea" feeling.

Many of our customers simply put seasilk seachips into a clear glass container (large or small) and add a few drops of potpourri oil. A beautiful and refreshing reminder of the sea. Use your imagination and come up with your own unique application for seasilk seachips.

If it's quality and originality your after, you have come to the right place.  Seachips are not dredged up by machine, separated in a huge sifter and sold in bulk with no quality control. Just the opposite. I literally walk the beach and hand pick each piece that catches my eye.

Seasilk Seachips vary in size somewhat. Typically they range between .5" to 2" and you will find approximately 60-70 pieces per pound. If you have a project that requires a specific range, email me and we will see if we can work with you.
